      7 Definitions (from ACA)

      Barrier: Anything that hinders the full and equal participation in society of people with
      physical, mental, intellectual, cognitive, learning, communication, or sensory impairments,
      including limitations resulting from policies, practices, physical design, or technologies.

      Disability: Any impairment—physical, mental, intellectual, cognitive, learning, communication,
      or sensory—whether permanent, temporary, or episodic in nature, or evident or not, that, in
      interaction with a barrier, hinders a person’s full and equal participation in society.

      Accessibility: The design of products, devices, services, environments, and policies in a way that
      enables people of all abilities to access and use them.

        Accommodation: A reasonable change or modification made to remove a barrier and allow a
        person with a disability to participate fully in the workplace or society.

        8 Plan Review and Updates

        • Annual Progress Report: Accord Transportation will publish a report by June each year, outlining actions taken, outcomes achieved, and updates to planned initiatives.
        • Three-Year Review: A full review and revision of the Accessibility Plan will occur at least every three years or as significant organizational or regulatory changes arise.
        • Employee Engagement: Employees, especially those with lived experience of disability, will be actively engaged in ongoing consultations to inform each review.
        • Accessibility Feedback: Feedback received throughout the year will be analyzed and addressed during the review cycle to support continuous improvement.
